For this class exercise, I have visited three very popular websites designed and owned by Mal Keenan, who is highly recognized in the online Internet and affiliate marketing world for his simple yet very affective websites. Thus, if you have read his blogs, you'll be amazed by his understanding of internet marketing and the way he systematically creates an effective online presence while building a real business platform by designing high quality WordPress blogs. However, my blog entry is not entirely about Mal Keenan, it is also focused on the technology Mal uses to design his websites. Mal Keenan incorporates a very practical online methodology, which allows him to effectively advertise his websites online by promoting his blogs and ultimately generating profits. I firmly believe that one of the main keys to his success, is the way he designs these websites utilizing the custom WordPress blog. Hence, for those of you who don't know what a genuine WordPress blog is, then I invite you read this blog entry, and hopefully you and I will learn something useful about creating and designing effective websites by utilizing a custom WordPress blog installation.

What is striking about this type of Internet marketing strategy, is the fact that his business can work entirely on "autopilot" - meaning the GetResponse auto-responder (email-series) campaign is constantly capturing new leads and potential customers - relieving him of the task of having to follow up with each of his potential customers one at a time.
2) Mal Keenan's BAB Marketing Report - is focused on legitimate home based business opportunities. This website is very similar to the one I mentioned above. However, in addition to his main blog posts, he is also contributing much of his content in the form of online articles. He has included hyperlinks to his newsletter archives and other marketing resources. If you dive in right now and actually read some of the articles and blog posts on this site, you'll notice that he devotes much of his time writing articles. This is an extremely effective idea, which has become a very popular online marketing strategy, and is referred to as Article Marketing. Thus, it is an ingenious way to promote your site while creating a stampede of massive traffic. In my opinion, it is an acceptable and free way to generate visits to your website that can have a positive result. In fact, there are several online article submission services which allow you to submit articles that will eventually get a lot of real exposure in the online community. If you continue to submit quality articles and promote products and services that are considered valuable to your readers, you will undoubtedly be recognized as an expert in your field, and people will come to you for advice.

All these items have been installed, modified and configured utilizing the online WordPress console and would require the special knowledge of a web programmer to install them if you tried to do it yourself. This is the benefit of having your own WordPress blog installation on your website and I highly recommend it for any anyone in the field.
